Country-rock artist Rip Gerber has released This Ranch Is My Church, a moving tribute to Eric Church that celebrates faith, family, and the spiritual power of nature. The song expresses gratitude to Church for his generosity and unwavering devotion to his community, while also serving a greater purpose—100% of the proceeds will be donated to Chief Cares, the charity founded by Eric and Katherine Church, to support the rebuilding of Western North Carolina communities devastated by Hurricane Helene.
Accompanied by an official music video, the single features a choral performance by the world-renowned Golden Gate Men’s Chorus, bringing a rich, harmonious depth to the track. With its soul-stirring instrumentation and heartfelt vocals, This Ranch Is My Church stands as a testament to the enduring power of music to connect, heal, and inspire.
“This song is more than just a tribute—it’s a love letter to the land, the people, and the sense of belonging that Eric Church embodies,” Gerber shares. “Instead of a thank-you note, I wrote ‘Chief’ a love song about his deep connection to nature, family, and his neighbors.”
This Ranch Is My Church is the second single from Gerber’s upcoming concept album Three-Chord Town, set for release on June 20, 2025. The album delves into themes of loss and loneliness, capturing the emotional landscape of life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
