Singer-songwriter Mick J. Clark released his latest album, Pole Position, in November 2025, adding another important chapter to a career defined by consistency, variety, and connection with listeners. The album features ten songs in total: two rock tracks, one R&B song, one country song, and six ballads, all coming together under what Mick describes as an easy listening style. Ultimately, he leaves the final judgment to the public, believing that success always rests in the hands of the listeners.
Pole Position reflects Mick’s long-standing approach to songwriting: accessible melodies, clear emotion, and songs designed to be lived with over time. While the album moves across genres, it maintains a calm and melodic thread that makes it suitable for relaxed listening, radio play, and everyday moments.
Mick J. Clark is a songwriter with decades of experience and a strong professional background. He is signed to Warner Chappell Publishing and previously reached the official 64th Grammy Awards nominations with his album Causes. His music has achieved more than one million Spotify streams, and he has enjoyed chart success on both sides of the Atlantic. In June 2020, his global warming anthem “We Know It’s True” reached No. 3 in the UK and No. 2 in the USA on the iTunes Top 100 Rock Songs chart.

Over the years, Mick has written more than 60 songs, many of which have received regular airplay on major radio stations, including BBC Surrey and BBC Sheffield. He has appeared on the iTunes Singles Chart six times and on the Album Chart once, confirming his ability to connect with audiences across multiple releases.
Alongside Pole Position, Mick has also released a Box Set Song Catalogue featuring 60 songs plus three Christmas tracks, covering a wide range of styles including pop, rock, ballads, R&B, dance, Latin, and country. His visual work has also gained recognition, with 15 music videos accepted by Promo Stream.
In recent years, several of Mick’s songs have shown strong streaming performance. His summer release “Anuther Sunny Hulliday” and birthday-themed track “Blow Those Candles Out” each surpassed 100,000 streams, while his Christmas EP collected over 300,000 Spotify streams across three holiday songs.
Mick has secured a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music in Australia and a record deal with Wrokdown Records in the UK. Both partners have highlighted the strength of his songwriting and its suitability for MOR (Middle of the Road) and country music radio stations worldwide. Even ahead of its wider rollout, Pole Position has already received airplay in the UK, Australia, and parts of Europe.
Beyond traditional releases, Mick’s music has also found a place in film and education. One of his songs has been placed in the film Earworm, scheduled for release on major streaming platforms. In addition, his empowering children’s song “Me My Body And I” was introduced into schools across Croydon, Surrey, through the Croydon Education Department.
Looking ahead, Mick J. Clark plans to tour with his band later in the year, following the release of Pole Position. A TV special is also set to air soon, expanding his presence beyond music platforms and into broadcast media.
With Pole Position, Mick J. Clark continues to do what he has always done best: write honest, melodic songs and place them in front of the public. The album stands as another example of a songwriter who believes in letting the music speak for itself and letting listeners decide where it belongs.
