Singer and songwriter Gyakie has secured three nominations at the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) following the official nominees’ announcement held at the Palms Convention Centre at the La Palm Beach Hotel on March 14.
The nominations recognise songs and projects released over the past year that made significant impact on the public.
Gyakie earned her nominations with “Sankofa,” which was nominated for Best Afropop Song of the Year, while she also secured a nomination in the Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste of the Year category.
Her debut album “After Midnight” received a nomination in the Album/EP of the Year category.
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards celebrate excellence in Ghanaian music and honour artistes across various genres.
With three nominations, Gyakie continues to strengthen her presence in the Ghanaian music industry as fans look forward to the main awards ceremony.
