Swiss artist Ann Khey brings together soul, jazz, and gospel influences in “In Your Rest,” a performance that highlights her sensitivity, authenticity, and artistic depth. Through a new video released as part of Cortes Music Sélection, she offers audiences an introduction to her musical identity and expressive style.
Cortes Music Sélection is an audiovisual concept developed by the Swiss association Cortes Music. Inspired by stripped-back musical formats, the project showcases artists from different backgrounds through carefully crafted visual productions that place the music and each artist’s identity at the centre.
The video for “In Your Rest” was produced by Meylan Production, with a visual approach that focuses on Ann Khey’s presence and interpretation directly in front of the camera. Featuring the studio version of the track, the performance keeps the attention on the artist and her musical expression.
Through Cortes Music Sélection, Cortes Music aims to increase the visibility of talent from French-speaking Switzerland, encourage musical discovery, and introduce audiences to a diverse range of artistic worlds. The initiative provides a platform for artists to present their work through an intimate audiovisual experience.
With “In Your Rest,” Ann Khey shares a glimpse into her soulful, jazz-influenced, and gospel-inspired universe, inviting listeners to discover her artistry through a performance that puts musical expression first.
