Gospel singer Adetutu VOJ’s new single Only You is a vibrant Afrobeat-inspired track created with the goal of reaching young Christians, especially those in the church who crave music that speaks to their cultural roots.
Drawing from her African background, Adetutu recognized the growing interest in Afrobeat among young people and set out to create something that bridges her faith with that rhythm. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown and recovering from Graves’ disease, Adetutu, with the support of her producer, poured her heart into the track. Adetutu VOJ is a passionate gospel artist who discovered her love for songwriting and music in 2017. A lifelong lover of singing and deeply rooted in her Christian faith, she made her professional debut with the single God Showed Up, followed by two more releases in 2018. Since then, Adetutu has been unstoppable, sharing her heartfelt music with the world. Her stage name, VOJ, stands for Vessel of Jehovah, a name that was inspired by her desire to be a conduit for God’s message through music.
