Amanda Holley unveils her most intimate single yet with the release of “FOMO.” This new R&B/Pop track delves deep into the raw intimacy and vulnerability of longing for real connection while navigating the digital age, a world dominated by screens, notifications, and the fear of missing out.

“FOMO is more than fear of missing out; it’s fear of feeling too much,” Holley explains. “Sometimes it’s easier to post a selfie than to admit you miss someone. But love, real love, requires presence, and that’s terrifying after trauma.” The song’s melody, lyrics, and vocal arrangement were written by Amanda Holley herself, with production by Q Tha Producer (known for work with Hurricane Chris, 8ightball, Jessica Dime, Trill Will) and SOSX Beats (credits include HBO and ESPN), alongside vocal production by GRAMMY®-nominated Michael Prochilo, also known as RICHROYCE, and Holley from her home studio.

“FOMO” is described as a soul-stirring blend of seductive melodies and vulnerable lyrics, infused with Holley’s divine feminine energy. The song uncovers the experience of digital detachment—the space between desire and fear, between direct messages and genuine human connection. Standout lyrics, such as “Trippin like oo when I’m scrollin through these feelings . . . Checkin my notifications but I’m too impatient and I love the sensation” and “Visualizing you at my door every time I’m scanning my camera roll . . . I wanna slide up on your timeline, boy I’m tryna make you mine,” perfectly capture the emotional tension of a generation caught between longing and digital distraction.

As a voting member of the GRAMMY® Recording Academy, Amanda Holley has garnered attention with recent singles “Seasoning,” “Ride or Die,” and “Press Play,” each having been under consideration for categories like Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Pop Solo Performance. Her rising catalogue stands out for its fusion of deep emotional storytelling, exceptional vocal control, and genre-blending artistry.

Holley’s talents extend beyond the studio; her impressive five-octave range, multi-instrumental abilities, and heartfelt songwriting have graced stages at iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall, Birdland, The United Nations, Sony Hall NYC, and both New York and Los Angeles Fashion Weeks. Her previous releases, distributed via SONY / The Orchard, have reached audiences through national and international radio, music video channels, and top streaming playlists.

The song addresses the reality that many people today find it easier to express themselves through posts, likes, and comments rather than having real, in-person conversations about their feelings. Yet Holley reminds us that true love and meaningful relationships require us to be present with each other, which can feel scary, especially for people who have experienced emotional pain in the past.

“FOMO” is the latest chapter of Holley’s forthcoming “HolleyGraphic” EP, a collection of songs rooted in personal transformation, sensuality, survival, and emotional truth. Amanda Holley continues to push boundaries with music that reveals the heart’s deepest desires, bridging the gap between the digital world and authentic human connection. “FOMO” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
