Anima Nera is thrilled to announce the release of their latest single, “Per Te,” available now on all major streaming platforms. This melancholic ballad explores the theme of eternal love, capturing the poignant emotions that arise when a long-buried love resurfaces as a memory.
“Quando un amore è eterno? Quando a distanza di anni ritorna, sotto forma di un ricordo più o meno spiacevole, o come un’ombra sul muro o come un sogno,” (translates to:“When is a love eternal? When after many years it returns, in the form of a more or less unpleasant memory, or as a shadow on the wall or as a dream,”)
reflects Anima Nera on the essence of eternal love. “Per Te” brings these sentiments to life, transforming the remnants of a forgotten romance into a spontaneous and melodious ballad filled with powerful emotions. As the band poignantly notes, some things pass, but a song lasts forever.
Formed in 2013, Anima Nera comprises Massimiliano De Angeli (vocals and guitar), Stefano Speranza (lead guitar), Lorenzo Piva (drums and backing vocals), and Fabio Lanaro (bass and backing vocals). From the outset, they have focused on creating original music that unites their collective experiences. Their sound is a unique blend of rock and Italian singer-songwriter influences, marked by heartfelt lyrics and metropolitan poetry, encapsulating the essence of “made in Italy” rock.
Anima Nera’s discography reflects their diverse musical journey. Their concept album “TERZO INCOMODO” (2017) explored the evolution of love and emotions, followed by “AMANTIDE” (2018), which delved into inner emotional landscapes. In 2022, they released the single “Musica,” a funky rock tribute to femininity and life’s pleasures, and in 2023, they addressed social media’s impact on self-image with “Dorian Gray,” released through Sony.
Their current single “Per Te,” under Universal Music Italia, is a return to their roots, singing about love. The song recounts the tale of a past love rekindled by memory, capturing the bittersweet nature of enduring emotions.
