Artist and songwriter Blake Tinsley’s latest creation, “Est. 1991,” is an EP that promises to leave an indelible mark on listeners. Born at Fort Hood, Texas, Blake’s upbringing as the son of a single mother who served in the U.S. Army has significantly shaped his journey, with experiences in North Carolina and the Bay Area in California influencing his artistic point of view.
Blake’s connection with the arts runs deep. Before even graduating from high school, he had already ventured into making independent films and records. Alongside these creative endeavors, Blake explored acting, contributing to feature films and enriching his understanding of storytelling. As a singer-songwriter, Blake has penned all of his songs, using music as a refuge that, at times, saved his life.
Throughout his time in the Bay Area, Blake consistently took center stage at local music venues, releasing three remarkable albums along the way.
