Broken Spaceship has officially released their debut EP, A Part With Some Significance, a genre-blending exploration of post-punk, poetic hip-hop, electronic, and indie sounds. Comprised of multi-talented artists Joserra (also known as Chamy the Chameleon) and Ultra_Eko, the group brings a wealth of creative experience and a shared passion for pushing musical boundaries to this compelling project.
Joserra, a versatile force in the music industry, has excelled in roles ranging from musician and DJ to promoter, tour manager, and label owner. His side projects, including the techno-focused THC Chameleons and the experimental Biota, which blends electronic music with the sounds of wild animals, highlight his fearless approach to creativity. This eclectic background deeply informs the sound of A Part With Some Significance, lending it both depth and innovation.
Ultra_Eko, an audiovisual artist and hip-hop performer, complements Joserra’s production prowess with a sharp visual sensibility and lyrical depth. Inspired by the cult film directors of the early ’90s, he infuses the project with a cinematic atmosphere, merging sound and vision to create an immersive listener experience.
The EP opens with “Dreams,” a high-energy track driven by a steady, bouncing rhythm.
