Pastor and gospel artist C.J. Brown has unveiled his transformative 15-track Afrobeats album Kingdom Melodies: Volume 1, blending scriptural depth with vibrant African rhythms. The project fuses Afrobeat, Afro-Swing, and contemporary gospel to create a worship experience that educates, uplifts, and energizes.

“Call Him Up” – The bold title track marries Afrobeat percussion with a faith-filled call to prayer, declaring God’s nearness. “Pray” – An Afro-Swing anthem opening with the line “Early in the morning when I wake up, pray…”, urging devotion through rhythm. “Healer” – A soul-stirring declaration (“Jesus, my Healer—You restore my soul”) over rich harmonies. “My Father” – A heartfelt cry of dependence (“Everyday I call my Father like no other”), blending vulnerability with groove.

As a pastor at Brooklyn’s Kingdom Arise Church, C.J. Brown merges pulpit ministry with musical innovation, using scripture-based lyrics to make biblical truths memorable. His work extends beyond music—through community prayer walks and food drives—embodying the album’s mission: faith in action.

“This music doesn’t just entertain; it teaches and draws hearts upward,” says Brown. Each track is a modern psalm, designed to resonate across generations and cultures.
