Ghanaian gospel minister Danny Addo has released his debut album The Refreshing, a powerful nine-track project that marks an important chapter in his more than decade-long music ministry. The album was officially introduced during his live worship event Undignified 1.0, a night dedicated to praise, worship, and spiritual reflection.

Known for his widely loved worship song Okum Yen Daa (The Psalm 91 Song), Danny Addo has steadily built a reputation as a minister committed to leading people into authentic encounters with God through music. His ministry extends beyond his personal recordings, as he currently serves as the Music Director of the Phanerosis Choir at The Mega Church, where he helps shape the congregation’s worship experience.

The Refreshing is deeply rooted in prayer and devotion, reflecting Danny Addo’s mission to create music that inspires faith, hope, and spiritual renewal. The album features uplifting songs such as Do It Again, Adom Nyame, Reason, Hwe Nea Awurade Aye featuring Kwadwo Awortey, Time of Refreshing featuring Ps. Sammy Obeng-Poku, and The Benediction.

Blending contemporary gospel with subtle highlife influences, the album carries a distinctly Ghanaian worship sound while maintaining a universal message of faith and encouragement. The Undignified 1.0 launch event also featured performances from gospel ministers Quame Gyedu, Sandy Asare, and Joshua Ahenkorah, creating an atmosphere of passionate praise.

With The Refreshing, Danny Addo continues to strengthen his voice in Ghana’s gospel landscape, using music as a tool to inspire believers and lead worshippers into deeper spiritual moments.
