Dean EA Unveils Focus Track “Bissa’m”

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Dean EA (pronounced Dinié), an Ivorian artist from the Moronou region in eastern Côte d’Ivoire, continues to define a sound rooted in heritage and driven by modern expression. Deeply connected to his origins, he draws from traditional Ahoussi rhythms and delivers them in Agni, creating music that bridges ancestral identity with contemporary energy.

Bissa’m stands as a central moment in his current work. Built on percussive bounce, electric guitar stabs, and chant-ready hooks, the track blends afrofusion, afrobeat, modern highlife, pop, rock, and rap into a high-impact performance record. In Agni, “Bissa’m” translates to “come see the fun we’re making,” a phrase that perfectly reflects the song’s live-wire spirit.

The record leans heavily into African rap performance techniques, tight cadences, controlled breathwork, and crowd-grabbing intonation. Bar-driven verses ride a groove designed for repetition and audience response, giving Bissa’m the feel of a cypher anthem that thrives on stage.

Dean EA’s broader artistic vision comes alive through Enfant de l’Éclipse, his immersive performance concept. Inspired by the meeting of the moon and the sun, the show merges ritual symbolism with modern sound design, transforming Ahoussi rhythms into a contemporary audiovisual experience. That same live energy translates directly into his recordings, where electric guitar threads through the project, coloring afro-pop and electronic bounce with modern highlife influence.

With Bissa’m, Dean EA pays tribute to Akan language and culture while delivering a record built for movement, unity, and shared excitement. It’s a celebration of tradition reimagined for today’s global audience.

Bissa’m is available now on all major streaming platforms.
