Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has hit back at his ex-girlfriend Michy over her claim that his proposal to her was staged and not real.
Speaking in an interview with Joy News’ Becky on E-With-Becks, Diamond Michelle Gbagonah popularly known as Shatta Michy claimed that Shatta Wale constantly abused her and it got worse after he publicly proposed to her.
“You don’t propose to someone and then you torment them after. Right after the proposal, it got worse, it got unbearable, those are the only words I can use,” she said.Reacting to the comments of his ex-girlfriend, Shatta Wale took to his snapchat to call Michy an attention seeker and also accused her of listening to her friends instead of focusing on her relationship.
He added that those people she called friends only wanted what she had because they know Shatta Wale has a bright future.
The dancehall king then said that Michy should focus on making money like him instead of using his name to get public attention.
