Jr. Atlas has officially released his first single under indie label Rogue Planet. Titled “Wasted/Lonely,” the track delivers a hip hop/pop blend that also features label mate and rising star Alpha Centauri.
A “sad boy” anthem wrapped in a sunny summer sound, “Wasted/Lonely” dives into the frustrations and regrets of using alcohol to navigate relationships—showing how dependency can lead to spirals of self-doubt and futility. Despite its heavy subject matter, the track’s vibrant production, live band instrumentation, and undeniable bounce give it replay value that connects on multiple levels.
Produced by Wes Smith at IDIO SOUND LAB, the single showcases Jr. Atlas’s versatility as both a solo artist and as Alpha Centauri’s on-stage collaborator, where he often performs as the second emcee.
The release of “Wasted/Lonely” marks just the beginning for Jr. Atlas. Over the coming year, he will continue touring across North America and Europe alongside Alpha Centauri, while simultaneously working with his new band on a backlog of music. His debut album is expected in late spring 2026.
