With thousands of fans from the diaspora and beyond in attendance, Kojo Manuel took center stage and did what he does best, by igniting the crowd. From engaging shoutouts to electric call-and-response moments, Kojo had festivalgoers waving flags, singing along, and dancing from start to finish.
Backed by the versatile and high-tempo sets of DJ Lord OTB, the pair curated a journey through Ghanaian anthems, Afrobeats bangers, and crowd favorites that kept the park pulsating with excitement. From classic hits to trending tunes, their performance was a powerful reminder of the global influence of Ghanaian music and culture. “Been very focused on carrying Ghanaian culture with me everywhere I go and I couldn’t do that without celebrating 20years with one of the major festivals that promotes Ghana music and culture.,” said Kojo Manuel after the performance.
The performance was part of the 2025 edition of Ghana Party in the Park, the biggest African outdoor festival in the UK, organized annually by Akwaaba UK. This year’s event drew attendees from across Europe and Africa, celebrating Ghanaian music, fashion, food, and heritage.
