Ghanaian AfroGospel artist Qojokay (Emmanuel Essel) is shares his heart with the world through his debut EP, “Made for You,” released on May 29, 2025. The project is a deeply personal reflection on faith, identity, and surrender—and it is music made to remind people who they are and who made them.

The 5-track EP is built on rich AfroGospel rhythms, and it tells a story that’s both raw and redemptive. From the moving declaration of the title track “Made For You” to the bold affirmation of “Verified By God,” the project also features the anthemic “Possible,” the high-spirited “Big God,” and the powerful closer, titled “Prayer.” Each song builds on a central truth: we are seen, known, and created with divine intention. It was produced by renowned sound architects Willo Pack and Zodivc, and each track holds a message that’s as intentional as it is relatable.

“This project came from a quiet, difficult season,” Qojokay explains. “I felt disconnected from purpose—and in that space, God reminded me: ‘You were made for Me.’ That verse, Romans 11:36, ‘For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.’ ‘I want anyone who listens to walk away feeling encouraged, restored, and reconnected with their purpose,” says Qojokay. “This isn’t just music—it’s a conversation between you and God.”

“Made for You” explores themes like divine purpose, surrender, restoration, and intimacy with God. Instead of shouting over the noise of life, the music creates space—space to feel, reflect, and reconnect with something deeper.
