Ghanaian Afro-fusion artist Demmi has embarked on a brief media tour following the release of his second single of the year, ‘3x ZOOM.’ As the track title goes, he is not letting off the gas in the lead up to the drop of his forthcoming EP ‘Still Rollin.’

On Tuesday 7th October, 2025, he made an appearance on one of Ghana’s biggest drive-time shows, “Cruise Control” with Kofi Hayford, to talk about the new release and upcoming projects. When asked about the rationale behind his stage name choice, the ‘3x ZOOM’ crooner claimed that to him, “everything is beyond the physical realm.” This is the reason why he decided to pick from the term “demi-god.” He added that, “understanding that a person has a higher essence than just their mortality” makes one move with so much purpose. According to Demmi, this is what helps him stay grounded.

On ‘3x ZOOM,’ we see him display this purpose by wanting to be the poster boy for street smartness. He shows himself in Burna Boy, Asake and King Promise through his use of a deep bass cadence, racing melodies and infectious hooks respectively.

It is interesting to note that for a relatively new artist, Demmi is showing evidence of someone who is meticulous and creative, traits very rare in the current music climate. ‘3x Zoom’ is Demmi’s second official single under The Continent. Live (TCL) and it is available on all streaming platforms here!
