Rising artist DiDi Musiqq unveils her latest single, “Something In My Heart,” a soulful and rhythmically engaging record that explores the kind of love that lingers long after a relationship has ended. Rather than framing heartbreak through melancholy, DiDi chose a more vibrant approach. “I didn’t want it to feel sad,” she explains. “I wanted to tell the story but still make it enjoyable. Raised in a musically rich Caribbean household as one of eight siblings, DiDi Musiqq was surrounded by sound from an early age. Influenced by icons such as Whitney Houston, she reportedly began singing at just six months old and quickly found her voice through school choirs. Over time, she evolved into a genre-fluid artist, comfortably moving between soul, pop, reggae, R&B, house, EDM, and Afrobeats.
Her artistic direction sharpened when she discovered Afrobeats. “When I first heard Afrobeats, I got truly excited — it felt like my calling,” DiDi recalls. Since then, her creative output has exploded, with over 400 songs written and recorded as she steadily releases music from her expansive catalog.
