Swiss guitarist and producer Andy Bopp pushes his global studio project Amayli forward with a new release: “Mona Lisa,” an Afrobeat-inspired track featuring The Ghost and a collective of African vocalists.
Following the momentum of “Burst My Medulla,” this new single widens the project’s sound — layered voices, rhythmic grooves, and Amayli’s signature guitar textures come together to create a track that feels spontaneous yet carefully shaped.
While The Ghost remains the central presence in Amayli’s evolving sound, “Mona Lisa” introduces fresh voices into the mix. Artists from across the continent add their own tone, phrasing, and emotion, forming a lively blend of Afrobeat, Afropop, and fusion. Their combined performance creates a rich, moving tapestry that feels global and grounded at the same time.
As with all Amayli releases, “Mona Lisa” reflects a creative approach built on collaboration, cultural exchange, and transformation. It bridges studio precision with a free-spirited energy — echoing the playful spark first introduced on “Burst My Medulla.”
