Create Source Media, in collaboration with international distribution partner FUGA, is thrilled to announce the launch of the “2Way Love Ends Violence” International Music Challenge. This exciting initiative accompanies the first major release under Create Source Media, the powerful global anthem “2Way Love Ends Violence.” The track features the talents of Nigerian rapper and singer-songwriter Ejay Jemi and South African-Australian rapper and songwriter Mkada, and is now available on all digital platforms.
“2Way Love Ends Violence” is a compelling track that captures the edgy, underground sound that made Dancehall-styled music famous. The song serves as a powerful call to action, promoting love and mutual respect as antidotes to violence. Ejay Jemi, whose previous work garnered attention from influencer Kida the Great and his 4.6 million Instagram followers, delivers a resonant chorus: “Stop the violence, give back to people, we mean no evil, love is 2Way.” These lyrics reflect the ongoing struggle between the powerful and the powerless, while Mkada’s verses explore the devastating impact of violence on youth, urging, “We don’t mean no evil, love is the better way for the people, a two-way street.”

To extend the song’s impactful message, Create Source Media is launching the “2Way Love Ends Violence” International Music Challenge, inviting artists worldwide to participate. Artists are encouraged to submit videos of themselves performing 8 bars that express how love, when reciprocated, can heal violence. Submissions are welcome in any language, with subtext included, and must focus on positive, impactful messages free of profanity and hate speech.
Selected entries will be showcased on Create Source Media’s and Ejay Jemi’s Instagram accounts and website. In addition to gaining valuable exposure, chosen artists will have the opportunity to be featured on the “2Way Love Ends Violence: The People Have Spoken” Remix. These artists will also be highlighted on Create Source Media’s blog, further promoting their dedication to spreading love and ending violence.
“Our goal with this challenge is to inspire a global conversation through music about the importance of mutual respect and understanding as a path to ending violence,” said Curtis Johnson, Executive Creator of Create Source Media. “We believe that by giving artists a platform to share their voices, we can create a ripple effect that brings about real change.”
