Just weeks after announcing her “Greatest Hits Christmas Tour”, two time GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum selling artist LeAnn Rimes reveals her first-ever holiday retrospective, “Greatest Hits Christmas.” Available on double vinyl, CD, and all digital platforms, the collection arrives perfectly timed to usher in the heart of the holiday season.
Spanning more than three decades of festive recordings, “Greatest Hits Christmas” serves as a definitive celebration of Rimes’ enduring relationship with holiday music. The album brings together beloved fan favourites, standout moments from her Christmas catalogue, and three brand-new original songs poised to become modern seasonal staples. Both the double vinyl and digital editions offer a sweeping view of her evolution as an artist, told through the lens of warmth, reflection, and joy.
From her 1997 breakout holiday single “Put a Little Holiday in Your Heart” to a joyful rendition of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and heartfelt selections from her “It’s Christmas, Eve” soundtrack, the album traces Rimes’ artistic and personal journey. Each song reflects a different chapter, blending nostalgia with lived experience in a way that feels intimate and timeless.

Emotion plays a central role throughout the collection. Rimes delivers a raw, moving interpretation of Joni Mitchell’s “The River,” alongside a powerful reimagining of “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)”, presented here in a refreshed 2025 digital mix of the Lennon/Ono classic that was previously available only in limited physical form. Adding a playful and theatrical edge, she teams up with actor and singer Luke Evans on “There’s No Such Thing,”a tongue-in-cheek ode to holiday skeptics that also offers an early glimpse into her upcoming musical Christmas project, 32 Hooves.
The album also features standout collaborations that broaden its emotional and stylistic range. Rimes joins forces with Aloe Blacc on a soulful rendition of “That Spirit of Christmas, and shares a moving duet with Gavin DeGraw on “Celebrate Me Home.” Each collaboration feels thoughtfully chosen, enhancing the album’s sense of connection and shared celebration.
Co-executive produced by Rimes alongside longtime collaborator Darrell Brown, Greatest Hits Christmas feels both celebratory and reflective. It gathers moments that are glittering and grounded, joyful and aching, offering listeners a deeply human holiday experience shaped by growth, memory, and connection.
With over 48 million albums sold worldwide, eight GRAMMY® nominations, and two wins, LeAnn Rimes remains one of the most influential voices in contemporary music. From historic achievements like becoming the youngest solo artist to win a GRAMMY Award, to recent honors including a 2025 GRAMMY® for her performance on President Jimmy Carter’s final spoken-word album, her career continues to evolve with depth and purpose.
Greatest Hits Christmas stands as both a celebration and a reflection, an invitation to experience the season through a voice that has long been synonymous with warmth, vulnerability, and wonder.
