Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio, presented by Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop and R&B Ebro Darden, will feature Nigerian rapper Tuff King this month, as Ebro and Africa Now Radio host Nandi Madida discuss his latest single, “Women of My Time” (feat. Phyno). Blending contemporary African-inspired rhythms with sharp lyricism, the track sees Tuff King deliver confident verses while Phyno brings his signature Igbo-rap finesse and seasoned presence to the collaboration.
The song celebrates admiration, strength and the influence of modern women, while also exploring the emotional dynamics of romantic relationships. Through themes of vulnerability, trust and compatibility, “Women of My Time” reflects the balance between intimacy and emotional resilience in navigating the complexities of love in the modern world that reflects on displacement, ambition, and the emotional realities of life lived between worlds.
Alongside Tuff King, Rap Life Africa will also spotlight Nasty C’s “Mi Amor,” taken from his newly expanded Free (Deluxe) project — a global reinterpretation of his acclaimed album Free, which invited fans and creators worldwide to remix and reimagine the original recordings. Also featured is “BRACE” by G-TECH 2bit, Mochen and Loatinover Pounds (feat. Slim Dumpie), a hard-hitting hip-hop anthem rooted in Pretoria’s Pitori sound and defined by gritty energy and uncompromising lyrical precision
