Boity is the latest to be signed by the American recording label Def Jam Records.
With only 2 singles and a couple of remixes, the 30-year-old Boity Thulo joins Nacty C who also signed with the same recording label in late March 2020.

However Boity, Boity’s management or Def Jam records are yet to confirm the signing as the news was shared on twitter by popular SA Entertainment reporter, Phil Mphela. In his tweet he noted that According to Billboard magazine, the rapper is one of the African division of the iconic label’s signees.

This would make Boity the second South African artist to sign with this legendary record label after Def Jam announced the signing of Nasty C in late march.
