On March 2, 2020, American legend, Kanye West held his Yeezy Fashion Show in Paris, France. There Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy met the American rapper for the first time. They hugged each other, and exchanged pleasantries.
In January 2018, Burna Boy released his album, Outside which had a song tittled ‘Ye on it’ the song ended up being one of the biggest Nigerian songs in africa. In June of that year, Kanye West also released his album, tittled “Ye” which had Burna Boys song crossing boarders as most music lovers mistook Burna Boy’s “Ye” for the American rapper who had equally released a project titled Ye.
Since the incident, many had been wondering if the two musical powerhouse would eventually get to meet each other, and perhaps have a good laugh about the confusion their individual project title had caused for music lovers, especially those subscribed to digital music streaming platforms.
The meet up finally happened which was full of positive energies from both sides
