Allisn is a singer/songwriter who has spent the majority of her life engrossed in music.

Italian-American by descent, Allisn was born and raised in Austria and Israel/Palestine and has since lived in 6 countries on 6 continents and traveled to many more. Having grown up amongst many Ghanaians and Nigerians, Allisn was exposed to African culture and music at a very young age.

A love for Afro-Caribbean music and dance inspired Allisn to spend over a year traveling around the Caribbean and South America. While there, she immersed herself in learning the music and dance cultures of countries such as Jamaica, Cuba, and Brazil to name a few. While in Bahia, the state in Brazil with the largest African Diaspora population, Allisn felt a strong pull to move to West Africa.

Less than a year later, in July, 2017, she relocated to Accra, Ghana with a desire to create an Afro-fusion album, mixing Afro-Caribbean sounds with Western pop influences. Once in Ghana, she quickly immersed herself into the music scene, By creating mash ups and covers of some of the big hits in Ghana, Allisn did her own rendition of songs like Shatta wale’s “low tempo” which caught the eye of many Music lovers in Ghana.

Currently working with top producers, like Jayso and Unklebeatz,  Allisn has recently released her first original track in Ghana titled “Kwesi,” which explores and challenges the dynamics of a polyamorous relationship, or the relationship between a playboy and his many lovers.

Allisn will soon after be releasing her debut 5-track EP titled “Circa 1993,” each song reflective of her experiences and observations in Ghana from the perspective of a foreigner.

Allisn strives to make music that is both meaningful and honest (sometimes in a rather satirical way), but also fun to listen and move to, mixing African beats with smooth vocals.
