Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Dax is once again out with another thought-provoking single titled, “A Real Man.” In Dax’s own words, it’s his favorite song he’s ever written, delving into the heavy theme of unrealistic expectations in relationships and aiming to create understanding to help repair family. The single is now available for streaming on major platforms.

Dax’s journey into the music scene began in 2016 with a poem written on a bus ride with his basketball team, which later transformed into his first mixtape, “2pac Reincarnation Vol 2: As Told By Dax”, released in 2017 on SoundCloud. But his big breakthrough came with the wild music video for “Cash Me Outside” featuring Danielle Bregoli, catapulting him into the spotlight.

Initially more focused on basketball, Dax found his passion for rap ignited by legendary artists like Tupac, Drake, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne. His unique style draws comparisons to Tech N9ne, Eminem, and Hopsin, blending deep lyrical content with powerful delivery.

“A Real Man” showcases Dax’s signature quality in songwriting and performance. The song has solid instrumentation and a profound message that resonates deeply as you listen, highlighting Dax’s ability to connect on an emotional level.  You’ll find yourself deeply lost in the lyrics as well as enjoying the whole song.

In addition to his latest single, Dax has an impressive discography. He released his first EP, It’s Different Now, in August 2018, featuring collaborations with O.T. Genasis and Futuristic. He followed this with a feature on Hopsin’s song “You Should’ve Known” and joined Tech N9ne on the “It Goes Up” tour. Dax later headlined his own “It’s Different Now Tour” across America and Canada in October 2019.

Dax’s second EP, I’ll Say It for You, released in 2020, received positive reviews, including the controversial single “Dear God.” Dax kept that momentum going strong with tracks like “Faster” featuring Tech N9ne, “I Don’t Want Another Sorry” featuring Trippie Redd, and “Coronavirus (State Of Emergency)” addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.

His recent works include a sequel to “Dear God” titled “Child of God,” a country music crossover remix of “To Be a Man” featuring Darius Rucker, “Narcissist” featuring Phix, and now his powerful new single “A Real Man.”
