Nigerian disc jockey, producer and musician, Cuppy has skyrocketed her career to another level by joining BBC 1Xtra. At BBC 1 Xtra, Cuppy will host the breakfast show every single Sunday.
BBC 1 Xtra, a digital urban contemporary and black music radio station since its inception in 2002 has promoted lots of artists within the main genres of electronica, hip-hop, R&B, soul, and in recent times afrobeat.
There’s no doubt that Cuppy, being a musician herself and a huge promoter of African music on Apple Music’s Africa Now podcast will continue to push Africans to the world with this platform.
She announced that she will be on-air Sundays after Sundays for four hours promoting the culture.
