Minikwu Daniel Manuchim, widely known as “Young Rozay,” and Nicholas Jackson Isimah, professionally recognized as “Nicotine,” have joined forces to create the formidable musical duo, Guice ‘n’ Jin, under the banner of Guice ‘n’ Jin Worldwide. Hailing from the vibrant city of PortHarcourt in Rivers State, Nigeria, these exceptionally talented songwriters, rappers, singers, and stage performers have rapidly become a force to be reckoned with in the Nigerian music scene.
The journey of Young Rozay and Nicotine began in their early years, discovering their innate talents for rapping and songwriting. However, it was after high school that they combined their individual prowess to establish the musical powerhouse, Guice ‘n’ Jin Worldwide.
In April 2023, Guice ‘n’ Jin burst onto the scene with their debut single, “Sportie Bet,” featuring OL. The track, characterized by addictive melodies influenced by Afro beats, hip-hop, and highlife, quickly gained traction, earning them widespread acclaim and a surge in their fan base.
Following the success of “Sportie Bet,” the dynamic duo paid tribute to Nigerian soccer sensation Victor Osimhen with their release titled “Osimhen.” The track further solidified their position in the music landscape.
Continuing their streak of hits, Guice ‘n’ Jin unleashed “Catfish,” a song that made waves across the country, showcasing their versatility and musical dexterity.
In October, Guice ‘n’ Jin elevated their musical journey with the release of their first EP, “Thug Love (Book 1).” This compelling compilation of tracks has become a trending sensation on various platforms, captivating audiences nationwide.
