Faith K finally returns with her long-awaited follow-up single, titled “Moyeni” which features Cape Town-born R&B songstress Thabsie, popularly known for hit singles, African Queen, and Ngiyaz’fela Ngawe.
‘Moyeni’, a South African Slang word, directly translated to “Push forward or endure”. This happens to be Faith K’s follow-up single to her sophomore EP ‘K’LOUD’ which featured the fan-favorite ‘Champ’ with label mate, pH RAW X, and ‘She’ with Hip Hop mastermind Reason.
On ‘Moyeni’, Faith K reunites with pH RawX who served as a producer on the song. The producer has crafted hits for some of the biggest names in local hip-hop and brings some forward-thinking production to the song.
“The chemistry between PH Raw X and I is something to marvel at, this song is beautiful’, says Faith K.
This song is at the intersection where culture meets tradition, as she has positioned herself with some of the best artists in the country, with multi-platinum selling artist Thabsie, the perfect foil this time out.
