To honor Riky Rick’s legacy, organizers of the highly anticipated festival didn’t cancel this year’s edition of Cotton Fest despite mourning the death of the initiator but postponed it to the 23rd and 24th of April.
“In the spirit of honoring Riky’s legacy, Cotton Fest 2022 will still be taking place at The Station in Newtown but has been postponed to 23rd and 24th April,” the Fest team said weeks ago.

The organizers have finally confirmed the full weekend line-up and Over 130 Top Local Acts are confirmed for Cotton Fest 2022.
The third annual Cotton Fest will take place over two days in Johannesburg merging both well-known and young emerging South African artists over three stages thrilling fans with exciting performances.

Cassper Nyovest is also on the line up as revealed at Riky’s memorial service.
It was said that the late rap icon wanted Cassper as the surprise act for the festival, to prove that they’ve settled their beef.
Riky’s passing left many devastated, but his deeds will always be preached, and his legacy will continually be honored.
