Gigi Lamayne has officially released her 5th studio album “Set In Stone”, a follow-up album to her 2021 album, ‘Mermaids and Stuff’. “Set In Stone” is a 10 solid track album with features from MusiholiQ, Don Calya, Aux Cable, Phantomsteez, Alfa Kat, Anzo, Big Zulu NaethebaeMajorsteez, Kid X. Busiswa & Makhadzi.
Prior to the major release, Gigi Lamayne shared the tracklist for the impending album and fans just couldn’t wait to feed on the full piece. The album is finally out and reactions on social media prove fans are really pleased with the project.
Starting off the album is the song “Oh My Gin”, On this one Gigi made a solid statement with her dope flow, solidifying the fact that she’s undeniably one of the best female emcees in the country.
The album transitions from Hip hop to Amapiano with a bonus amapiano track “Mashonisa” featuring Busiswa & Makhadzi which was one of the lead singles off the album.
