Independent artist M3TIN continues an ambitious multilingual music project with the release of Notre Histoire Est Finie, a cinematic French duet that explores the emotions of a relationship from both sides. Built around piano-led production and male and female vocal performances, the single captures the quiet heartbreak of two people revisiting the same ending through different perspectives.
Rather than translating an existing song, Notre Histoire Est Finie is part of a larger creative vision in which one original story is reimagined as native adaptations across multiple languages. Following releases in Kazakh, Arabic, and Khmer, the French version marks the fourth chapter, with Portuguese and Spanish editions still to come before the original Turkish recording is released in 2027. Every adaptation is reviewed by a native speaker to preserve the emotional authenticity of each language while keeping the song’s core narrative intact.
Accompanying the release is Le Film, a slow cinema-inspired music video made up of 32 carefully composed shots across 11 scenes. The visual approach mirrors the song’s restrained, reflective mood, allowing silence, expression, and atmosphere to carry as much weight as the lyrics themselves.
Created by founder Ahmet Metin Oktay, M3TIN combines cinematic pop production with an unconventional approach to international songwriting. While the studio openly embraces modern production tools, including AI, every lyric, creative decision, and artistic direction originates from Oktay’s vision, reflecting the label’s belief that technology is simply a creative instrument in the hands of the artist.
