South African music producer Master KG, brings home the Best African Act at the MTV EMAs 2020.
Master KG was nominated alongside the Kings of Amapiano, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, for their hit, Nana Thula. Also nominated along them were Burna Boy (Nigeria), Rema (Nigeria), Sheebah (Uganda) and Gaz Mawete (DRC).
The hit single, Jerusalema featuring Nomcebo Zikode took the Limpopo star beyond the boundaries of South Africa. The video of the song has surpassed 200 million views, and it’s attracted international stars.
Reacting to this big win, the DJ expressed gratitude for the love and support experienced.
