Mesmonized turns personal loss into a musical tribute with “Marley 4K,” the final single ahead of his forthcoming album “Liminality”. The track pays homage to Bob Marley, Prince, and Mesmonized’s late brother, bringing together several personal connections in one deeply reflective song.
The title carries its own meaning. The “4” represents Prince, while the “K” comes from the initial of Mesmonized’s late brother, whose memory continues to influence his music. At its heart, however, the song is about missing someone close and finding a way to continue carrying their presence forward.
Mesmonized describes “Marley 4K” as his most personal release to date. The song was written from the experience of losing someone he loved, while also acknowledging the artists who have passed on but continue to shape the music he creates.
The track was produced in Mesmonized’s home studio, where he has created his previous work. It also serves as a bridge into “Liminality”, his upcoming album due this autumn, and will be the final single released before the full project arrives.
Mesmonized is a solo producer from North West England who creates electronic music from his home studio. His work draws on introspective songwriting, emotive melodies and personal experiences, with influences including Red House Painters and Mazzy Star. Through “Liminality”, he continues developing a body of music shaped by memory, loss and the people who remain part of his creative journey.
