Nadia Nakai & Blxckie have been nominated at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards! Both rappers rapper are nominees in the category of Best International Flow competing against other international artists like Benjamin Epps, Black Sherif, Haviah Mighty, Tasha & Tracie Okerekere, Knucks, Le Juice, and Central Cee.
Best International flow is a new category BET introduced back in 2019 to acknowledge and award talented rappers with exceptional flow and Ghana’s Sarkodie won the first ever Best International Flow award, beating several talented international artists, including United Kingdom’s Little Simz, Canada’s Tory Lanez, South Africa’s Nasty C, and many more. Since then, other acts who have won this category include Stormzy(2020) and Little Simz(2021)
Though based in South Africa, Nadia Nakai was nominated as a Zimbabwean rapper. Nadia Nakai & Blxckie both reacted to this massive nod by expressing their excitement for the nomination on their social media pages.

This year’s BET will take place on Friday, September 30, with the broadcast premiere airing on Tuesday, October 4, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET
