Fews days ago, Def Jam Africa, took to Twitter to announce the most-streamed Mixtape in South Africa and according to their announcement, Nasty C and DJ WhooKid’s Zulu Mixtape is currently the most streamed in the country.
The record label tweeted, “The Boy Nasty C Keeps Winning, #ZuluMixtape Is Officially The Most Streamed Mixtape In South Africa.

To build anticipation, Nasty C’s “Zulu” Mixtape was released few months ahead of his most hyped album ever “Zulu Man With Some Power” back in June 2020. “Zulu Man With Some Power” was later released in August 2018.
Nasty C has been on a roll since the start of 2021. He recently released the music video for “Black And White” off his “Zulu Man With Some Power” album with American songstress Ari Lennox. the video was well received by fans and currently has over 2 million views on Youtube.
Nasty C became the first South African rapper to appear on one of America’s biggest talk shows The Ellen DeGeneres Show performing Black And White with Ari Lennox.
He also grew his Zulu Man With Some Power brand and launched his own podcast in collaboration with Old Mutual’s AMPD Studios that includes industry chats with the likes of Slikour, and several music executives.
