Roubaix Favelas, the exciting new concept from Roubaix-based label Alouette Street Records, is set to take the global music scene by storm. This international collaboration brings together a diverse mix of sounds from France, Ghana, Brazil, and England, blending Afro, Electro, Rap, and Baile Funk influences into a truly unique musical experience.
The project is a melting pot of creativity, featuring producers, MCs, rap artists, remixers, dancers, and graffiti artists from around the world. The instrumentals were composed between Roubaix and London, with remixes coming from the cultural hubs of Dakar and Rio. The MCs hail from Ghana and England, further adding to the fusion of Caribbean and African influences with a distinctive British electro touch.
