Forbes Africa just released a list of 30 successful and enterprising professionals across the continent and Video Director/Producer, Scilla Owusu, is the only Ghanaian who made this year’s cut.
Scilla Owusu got featured on the list after her application successfully made it in the top 30 names out of 3,000 nominations forwarded to Forbes at the beginning of this year.
The list also features 120 young African change-makers for the first time, increasing from a list of 90 young Africans last year, with 30 finalists in each of the four categories – business, technology, creatives, and sport.
Scilla Owusu is the founder of Youngtrepreneurs, a social impact workshop to provide youth led workshops in different creative sectors.

in 2015 scilla owusu graduated from college with a degree in business studies.
Scilla from there delved straight into the music video scene as a production assistant, Became a producer for a few years and then moved straight to video directing.
Scilla has since then worked with some of Africa’s most renowned artist on their music videos. Featuring the likes of Wande Coal, Fuse ODG, Burna Boy, Patoranking, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Mr Eazi, Davido, and many more.
