Sho Madjozi has announced a scholarship program for aspiring female producers to help South African women take up space in music production.
Sho Madjozi in a tweet announced she has partnered with Bridges Academy and created a Scholarship program for a female producer to pursue a five month course. this is in a bid to help empower South African women to dominate the south african music scene as she noted it’s fully dominated by men.
she wrote:
“The technical side of music is so male dominated & I’d like to see more women in that space. That’s why I’ve created a scholarship for a female producer to attend the Bridges Academy in Langa. The 5-month course starts in a few weeks and you can apply here,” Sho Madjozi announced on twitter.
