Simi signs new deal with Apple’s Platoon

Nigerian singer/songwriter, Simi just inked a new deal with UK-based A&R and Creative agency, Platoon.

The singer took to her Twitter page on Monday, September 14, 2020, to share the exciting news with her fans.

Simi also shared a short video spotlight of herself where she announced the coming of her next project titled ‘Restless II’ in the caption.

“I’m a singer and songwriter. I’ve been singing for a decade now. The influences I had in music especially when I was young were Lauryn Hill and Asa as well. I love Adele,” she said.

Platoon Music, which was acquired by Apple in 2018, works with artistes to produce, distribute, and sell their content while using analytics to figure out the target market for their style of music.
