Siphiwe Mtshali has been part of the Rhythm City family for a decade but is now moving on to other things. The actor played the role of Bash, the smiling tsotsi who will soon meet his end on the popular show. Siphiwe had fun playing Bash and enjoyed having freedom to grow his character.OKMzansi quoted the actor saying: “I enjoyed the character because I was given freedom to explore it. Bash does not have a look of a tsotsi, because he is always smiling. So, I had to build the character using one of my family members. I find the character of Bash in one of my uncles, who never tells a straightforward story. I enjoyed growing the character, and working with the whole Rhythm City team.”groove-africa.com.za learnt that Siphiwe is working on projects produced by the production company that he and his wife own. They’re working on a reality show, Grooming Boys, which will be aired by one of Mzansi’s local channels.
