In 2010, Canadian rap influencer Mjoy began touring Ontario, from the University of Toronto to the renowned Cultural Arts Festival AfroChic to crowd-favorite RCCG youth conferences. Dubbed the hottest talent of the year by AfroChic in 2014, MJOY has been on a mission to inspire the world with a message of dreaming big, believing big, and making a big global impact.
Rising through the challenges of financial limitations from a single-parent household in one of the world’s most populous metropolises, Lagos, Nigeria, following the passing of his dad at age 12, through reading, Mjoy became equipped with a message of hope in order to blaze a triumphant trail in life.
Growing up in a house full of vinyl records collected by a music-loving father, he gravitated to the tunes and lyrics that eventually evolved into hip-hop. Further, his greatness in music has been honed from his elementary school days when he would write lyrics and boldly rap them in front of a classroom of wowed peers, to global stages of over 10,000
in-person attendees.
