International DJ-Producer, Uncle Waffles just crossed another major career milestone as she announced her first ever magazine cover with Galore Magazine. Galore is a digital magazine that serves as a voice for the cool, creative and daring Gen Z girl. The publication has featured the likes of Kylie Jenner, Zendaya, Gigi Hadid and many other game-changing young women in the industry. In her cover spread interview, Waffles went into detail about her experience at the forefront of the growing Amapiano movement, her unique introduction to the DJing world, her swift catapult to international stardom, and more.

For additional background, Uncle Waffles, often referred to as the “Princess of Amapiano,” has been making her rounds with international tours/performances and most recently performed at Coachella and Cannes this year. Despite being only 23-years-old, Waffles has solidified her position in the industry in a way that hasn’t been done before. This year, she was nominated for a BET AWARD, nominated for a Headies Award, honored as the first Amapiano artist to perform at Coachella, amassed over 2M followers on Instagram and over 1.5M followers on TikTok, and has garnered over 100K+ subscribers on YouTube.
In the past few months alone, she’s received major cosigns from top artists including Drake, Beyonce, Ciara, and more. Earlier this year, Uncle Waffles released “Asylum” – an explosive seven-track project featuring one of the genre’s double platinum viral hits ‘Yahyuppiyah’. This August, Uncle Waffles released her second EP titled, “Solace.” Coming off the upbeat sounds of “Asylum,” Waffles switched things up and slowed things down for a tranquil and calming vibe for this latest project.
