More than a song, Morocco stands as a cultural meeting point. In his latest release, Prince Kestamg captures the spirit of unity and celebration inspired by the Africa Cup of Nations, where sport, music, and shared identity intersect. The track blends traditional African rhythms with global pop elements, shaping an anthem rooted in friendship, joy, and collective pride.
Now based in France, Prince Kestamg is known for music driven by peace, well-being, and human connection. His sound moves fluidly between pop, dance records, and romantic compositions, always centered on emotion and positive intent. Morocco reflects that approach, delivering energy without losing depth or meaning.
Prince Kestamg’s artistic journey is deeply tied to his heritage. Born into the royal family of the Banjoun people in western Cameroon, he was raised with strong values of honor and respect. Music became central to his life early on, influenced by his grandmother, a healer who used rhythm and song as tools for restoration. That foundation shaped him into a singer, songwriter, and performer with a strong sense of purpose.
For over a decade, Prince Kestamg toured across Africa with the Kestamg Band, performing at festivals and cultural events while sharing messages of hope, unity, and justice. His commitment to social impact continues today. As an ambassador of the Kwak Kwak, a traditional Cameroonian instrument, he actively promotes diversity, harmony, and inclusion through his work.
Since relocating to France in 2001 to further develop his vocal craft, Prince Kestamg has built a sound defined by poetic storytelling and uplifting production. With Morocco, he reinforces his role as an artist who builds bridges, using music to bring people together across borders and cultures.
