Davido during his performance at Travis Scott’s London O2 concert on Saturday, 6th August 2022 performed his 2017 global hit song ‘Fall’, The song’s re-entry to the chart can be attributed to the wave of nostalgia the performance drew, the song re-entered the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart few days after the performance.

Before its re-entry, ‘Fall’ previously peaked at 18th position on the chart and spent a total of 18 weeks on the chart, the song currently sits at 50th place on the chart.

Fall was released during an Afrobeat Era where Davido had the biggest and constant back-to-back hits such as ( ‘IF’, ‘Fall’, ‘FIA’, and ‘Like Dat’) topping charts and breaking boundaries in 2017. These songs were part of the few afrobeats songs that dominated the whole of Africa and spearheaded the afrobeats movement going global, now, Afrobeats has been accepted globally with artists such as Chris Brown and more tapping into the culture.

‘FALL’ has enjoyed massive success in the US, UK, and other European countries, introducing Afrobeats to new audiences and listeners. It’s certified Gold in the United States where it has earned more than 500,000 units in sales.
