The 6th All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA was held on November 23rd, 2019, at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
Winners of the event were announced from 36 categories which include; Best Male artists, Best female artists, Best Album in Africa and others.
The various awards were given both on the Continental and Regional levels.
AFRIMA also gave out the Legendary awards, which is recognition of individuals who have impacted positively to the world using their craft in the music, arts and culture industry.
This years’ Legendary awards recipients are international Congolese music veteran, Awilo Longomba; and Nigerian music icon, 2Baba.
