Eddie Witz and The Most High’s latest single, “My Island,” has quickly become a sensation among listeners, soaring to #3 on college radio charts in the USA. This track, blending folk and reggae rhythms with uplifting lyrics, has not only resonated domestically but has also garnered significant airplay in Canada and Jamaica. In response to fervent demand from radio, fans, curators, and media alike, Eddie Witz and The Most High are thrilled to present a reggae remix of “My Island,” promising to transport listeners straight to the sun-drenched beaches of Jamaica.

“My Island” boasts a distinguished musical pedigree, co-written by renowned Rock & Roll Hall of Fame songwriter and producer Jeff Barry (“Chapel of Love”), alongside Grammy Award-winning songwriters and producers Brian and Native Wayne Jobson, famed for their collaborations with No Doubt (“Hey Baby” & “Underneath It All”).

Continuing the tradition of musical journeys set amidst lush landscapes, “My Island” aims to evoke the spirit of travel through its richly flavored soundscape. Entrusted to Eddie for co-production, arrangement, performance, and recording, the track showcases a seamless collaboration of talents.

Notable musicians featured on the track include the legendary drumming of Sly Dunbar, renowned for his work with artists from Bob Marley to Bootsy Collins to Bob Dylan, and the acclaimed keyboardist Robbie Lyn, best known for his collaborations with Peter Tosh and Third World. Adding to the ensemble is percussionist Adam Topol, known for his two-decade collaboration with Jack Johnson. Topol praises Eddie Witz as an artist of passion and heart, whose meticulous studio recordings and electrifying live performances ignite the spirits of audiences.

The music video for “My Island” was shot on location in Jamaica, featuring Eddie as a tropical troubadour traveling to secret locations, including a waterfall surrounded by rich flora and fauna, an ancient natural spring water lagoon sprung from an underwater limestone cave, Fire Water (the only known natural sulfur hot springs on the planet that can be set on fire), and Laughing Waters, made famous in the James Bond film Dr. No.
