Burna Boy’s music isn’t without fans – he recently scooped up an award for his contribution to African music. He won the Best Africa Act Award at the 2019 MTV EMA Awards on 3 November, Comments like the one made by JR and fellow social media users will likely only make the current relationship between South African and Nigerian music lovers even more tense.
