Hakuna Patata returns with Enda Mbali, a vibrant, dance-ready release built on warm African rhythms and an easy, uplifting groove. Reuniting with trusted collaborators Doroh Kendy (vocals, Kenya) and Ray Solo (guitar, Zimbabwe), the track blends melody and movement into a feel-good listening experience rooted in connection and flow.
Led by Bart, a Brussels-based producer and multi-instrumentalist with over four decades of music-making, Hakuna Patata thrives on collaboration and cultural exchange. Enda Mbali reflects that spirit—layering organic instrumentation with danceable energy and drawing from a deep love of world music spanning reggae, funk, soukous, Afro-influences, Latin styles, and beyond.
Bart’s journey began early, from record-store shifts and DJ booths to bass and guitar in his first rock bands. Today, he records and shapes much of his work in his home studio, inviting collaborators when the music calls for new color and perspective. That open-minded approach has led to 12 distinct projects under different artist names, with Hakuna Patata standing as a celebration of rhythm, warmth, and global sound.
With Enda Mbali, Hakuna Patata delivers music made to move bodies and lift spirits—borderless, collaborative, and joy-forward.
