Born Shadrach Danso, Levite Shabach recorded the song live during his annual Just Worship concert at Calvary Baptist Church, Awoshie. Award-winning Ghanaian producer Shadrach Yawson, popularly known as Shaa, handled the production, helping shape the song around Levite Shabach’s worship-led delivery. The word “Maranatha” has traditionally been associated with a cry for the Lord to come, and that message remains central to the song. But Levite Shabach takes the idea further by expressing a desire for Christ to move in the lives of believers in the present.

He also serves as a worship leader and Music Director at Calvary Baptist Church Awoshie – Grace Mission, Dawhenya Branch. His journey has been further shaped by his mentorship under renowned Ghanaian-American gospel artiste, preacher, philanthropist and entrepreneur Dr. Sonnie Badu.
